The View-Scottish Regiment
The View in Parktown was constructed in 1896 and became well-known for the 1905 production of the biggest diamond ever found at his Premier Mine. It is constructed in the Neo-Queen Anne style and distinguished by two A-shaped gables, red brick, and white carved wooden railings on its double-story balconies. Due to the family's expansion, a replica of the old house called the west wing was built. Many people overlook the significance of The View and the reasons it was constructed, viewing it as a forgotten memory. In order to preserve the structure and its true purpose, The View has integrated a boutique hotel and high tea kitchen where many people can have a delightful stay in traditional Scottish style. The extensive garden and circular driveway are still present thanks to South Africa's heritage site regulations. The expansive garden and its lovely surroundings serve as the restaurant's elegant seating area. The interior of The View is home to a lovely historic boutique hotel that preserves the structure while using Scottish interior design elements. The foyer, reception area, social space, and eating area are all located on the ground floor of The View. The first floor is where the boutique hotel's beginning is located. This is reached by ascending the traditional Scottish staircase. All bedrooms have traditional Scottish interior style. The new design aids the heritage building by enhancing what the building is about even more, although that is not the most significant aspect.Awareness, understanding, and an amazing experience are all created by the newly designed "View," which will live on in the hearts of many.
